using the iTOVi for wellness insights

We’ve been using this little device in our home for about three years now. The iTOVi has been a wonderful addition to our family’s lifestyle and has helped us create personal wellness plans for each of us.

So what is it exactly? The iTOVi scanner is a device that works with the body to determine which products might be best for you and your body at this particular time. The human body is incredibly, amazingly complex and we are subject to a multitude of factors (temperature, stress, sleep, hormones, etc) which change and adjust the body. These changes and variations create a reaction within the body. iTOVi works by sending stimuli in order to induce a response in order to trace these reactions. It uses GSR (like a Fitbit does!) in order to measure the changes. The GSR is then interpreted through iTOVi’s algorithm which then generates a list of essential oils and supplements that might be helpful for you based on the reactions they noticed in your body. It’s so neat when science works to help further our understanding of our bodies!

A couple things to note: this is not like going to the doctor and should not replace it. It’s not going to diagnose you or treat you in any way. What it will do is give you some insights to help you craft a wellness plan, which is amazing. There have been times that I have scanned for Thieves or Exodus II or Inner Defense and then noticed a scratchy throat or a runny nose a few days later. I love being able to have these insights to help me take care of myself and my family!

I honestly love that it isn’t a diagnostic tool! It’s so beneficial to have something that isn’t trying to play doctor, but is instead assisting in creating a personal wellness plan based on your body’s responses right now.
