apple picking

We spent our Saturday morning picking apples from our community orchard. The crop was impacted by weather this year, so when I found out that today would be the last day they would be open, we added it to our plans for the day immediately. They aren’t gorgeous apples, but we don’t mind. I ordered a cider press and we’re going to be making homemade cider in our backyard with them! So delicious!

I grew up picking apples every year with my family, and it’s been so fun to continue to carry on that tradition with my own family now. So special!
